Winning in Adversity: A New Journey Begins
Welcome, everyone, to the very first episode of the IDEAL to heal podcast!
My name is Alex, and I’ll be your guide as we navigate this journey together. Life is a blend of good and bad days, ups and downs, and today I felt was the perfect day to finally launch this podcast—a dream I’ve carried for at least three years.
Why this day why now?
You might wonder why I chose this day, November 6, especially after hearing the unexpected news of Donald Trump’s re-election in the United States. I’ve asked myself the same question, and I believe the answer is rooted in my personality: an innate drive to rise in the face of difficulty. Life brings us challenges, and with each one, we’re given a choice. We can let setbacks hold us down, or we can meet the challenge head-on and grow. I’ve spent over 11 years healing myself, transforming, and learning that every warning sign or difficulty can fuel us if we choose to let it.
Today’s news felt like a nudge, a reminder that the time is now. It’s time to stop hiding, to embrace our inner truth, and to acknowledge that each one of us is needed to create a harmonious, united world. We desire a planet where everyone feels free and equal, regardless of their background, race, or gender. Yet, challenges like these remind us that this vision won’t come easily—it requires collective effort and resilience.
Witnessing the reactions around me, including the children I teach yoga, I could sense the weight of today’s events on their minds. Many of them expressed frustration and fatigue, reflecting a broader feeling of weariness across society. But as difficult as this may be, it’s a necessary reminder that achieving the life we dream of won’t be effortless. We must work towards creating a haven on Earth, a place of unity, where people live in harmony.
Inner revolution
This shift is not only a social revolution but an internal one, too. The world’s pain and suffering are also invitations for us to turn inward, to transform from within. When we heal ourselves, we contribute to the healing of the entire planet. And this understanding, this certainty, is what has led me to start this podcast—to offer support and guidance as we navigate our own paths to inner healing and growth.
A healing podcast
This podcast will be a mix of personal reflections, shared lessons from my own experiences, and conversations with others on their journeys. I’ll share insights from my healing practices, from yoga and Qi Gong, and perhaps even invite guests to join in, so we can learn together.
About me
Some of you may not know much about me yet, so here’s a bit of background: I’m a 34-year-old yoga and Qi Gong teacher, a medium, and a healer.
My journey began over 11 years ago, right after finishing school. I had struggled with chronic pain and, after years of suffering, made the decision to become pain-free. This choice led me to a deep study of pain therapy, where I discovered that much of my pain wasn’t just physical but also connected to my heart and mind. This realization changed everything, shaping my approach to healing and to life itself.
